During the 2-week holiday break from regularly-scheduled classes I will be offering a handful of special classes. Each class is $15 by Dec 19, $20 after (cash please). Monday, Dec 21, 6-7:15pm

Winter Solstice Yin Yoga  *SOLD OUT!*

 

Join us on the first day of winter for our always popular Winter Solstice class–a calming and meditative Yin practice, the perfect antidote to the high energy activity of the holiday season. Take some time for yourself to slow down, relax and de-stress with a peaceful, quiet practice.

 

 

Tuesday, Dec 22, 9:30-10:45am

Yoga Fundamentals: Hatha

 

In this class we will take time to dissect and explore postures that we commonly see in our Hatha practice but don’t always have time to break down in class–and that students often have the most questions about: Warriors 1, 2 & 3, Cobra, Plank, Downward Dog, Forward Bends, Triangle, Boat, Pigeon and more. Take this opportunity to ask questions, get your alignment checked and learn modifications so that you know you are practicing in a safe, sustainable way. Bring your requests!

 

 

Tuesday, Dec 22, 6-7:15pm

Yoga Fundamentals: Vinyasa

 

In this class we will take time to dissect and explore common Vinyasa postures that we don’t always have time to break down in class–and that students often have the most questions about: Chaturanga, Upward Dog to Downward Dog transition, Plank, Balances, Shoulderstand, Plow, Fish pose and more. Take this opportunity to ask questions, get your alignment checked and learn modifications so that you know you are practicing in a safe, sustainable way. Bring your requests!

 

 

Monday, Dec 28, 6-7:15pm

Yuletide YIN-YASA 

 

We’ll warm up our bodies in the first half of the class with a simple Vinyasa flow appropriate for all levels, and then melt into some luxuriously long Yin stretches for the second half of the class to help us unwind and reconnect to our calm center within during this busy holiday season.

Beyond the Basics: Hatha

 

This class is for Hatha students who have been practicing a while and want more specific instruction on advanced poses such as Revolved Triangle, 1/2 Moon, Bow, Jumping from Down Dog to Forward Bend. We’ll go slow and I’ll show you how to build up to these challenging poses.

 

 

Tuesday, December 29, 6-7:15pm

Beyond the Basics: Vinyasa

 

This class is for Vinyasa students who have been practicing a while and want to take their practice to the next level with more detailed instruction on advanced poses such as Crow & Side Crow, Wheel, Jump-backs & Jump-throughs and Flip the Dog. We’ll go slow and get through just as many postures as we safely and sustainably can during this class.
