Winter Solstice Yin Yoga
Back by popular demand! Join us on the first day of winter for a calming and meditative Yin practice, the perfect antidote to the high energy activity of the holiday season. Take some time for yourself to slow down and relax with a variety of leg, hip, shoulder and back stretches in a peaceful, quiet setting.

Yoga Fundamentals: Hatha
In this class we will take time to dissect and explore seated, standing and supine Hatha postures that we commonly see in our practice but don’t always have time to break down in class–and that students often have the most questions about: Warriors 1, 2 & 3, Cobra, Plank, Downward Dog, Forward Bends, Triangle, Revolved Triangle, Pigeon and more. Take this opportunity to ask questions, get your alignment checked and learn modifications so that you know you are practicing in a safe, sustainable way. Bring your requests!

Yuletide YIN-YASA
We’ll warm up our bodies in the first half of the class with a simple Vinyasa flow appropriate for all levels, and then melt into some luxuriously long Yin stretches for the second half of the class to help us unwind and reconnect to our inner peace during this busy holiday season.

Beyond the Basics: Hatha
This class is for Hatha students who have been practicing a while and want to take their practice to the next level with more specific instruction on poses such as Upward Dog, Chaturanga, 1/2 Moon, Jumping from Down Dog to Forward Bend, Shoulderstand and Plow. We’ll go slow and I’ll show you how to build up to these challenging poses.

Beyond the Basics: Vinyasa
This class is for Vinyasa students who have been practicing a while and want to take their practice to the next level with more detailed instruction on advanced poses such as Arm Balances, Backbends, Jump-backs, Headstand and Handstand. We’ll go slow and get through just as many postures as we safely and sustainably can during this class.
