Saturday February 2, 1-3:30pm @ The Yoga Room
Everyone had so much fun at our first Yoga of Knitting Workshop that we are doing an encore presentation! Beginners and experienced knitters welcome at this workshop with yoga instructor and master knitter Natasha Schaffer. Learn the continental knitting technique as we inhale/knit and exhale/purl our way through a knitting project…for beginners, a washcloth…for more advanced knitters, a set of wrist warmers. We break for tea, then stretch and release tension from neck, shoulders, hands and heads in a special yoga session.
You will walk away with a new skill (or brush up on an old one!) and, hopefully, a heightened sense of non-attachment (a core principal of yoga practice). Supplies will be provided or bring your own favorite ball of yarn and needles.
Natasha Schaffer has been knitting and clothing family and world at large with her knit wares for 30+ years. (Find her on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/lyalya) She has been practicing yoga for twelve years and teaching for two.
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED! $30 by February 1; $40 at the door. Space is limited; contact Christy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 734.761.8409 to reserve your spot!
