Christina Witter started practicing yoga in 2002 seeking its emotional benefits to help navigate some life-crossroads at the time. Finding the emotional benefits as well as the spiritual, mental and physical benefits of yoga, she has dedicated herself to her yoga practice in many forms including asana, service, and self-study. Over the years, she has practiced many traditions with Ashtanga being her favorite. In an effort to better understand her personal practice, she started her teacher training through Yoga Fit in 2006. As an elementary school teacher by day, she began teaching yoga by donating her time after school to bring yoga to her colleagues. She has been teaching at The Yoga Room since fall of 2007.
Christina has found her favorite and most important yoga practice is being Mom to Everett (3.5 years) and Ian (0.5 years). She tries to live each day with joy and brings that to the classes she teaches.
