If you’re a regular student of The Yoga Room, chances are you’ve taken a yoga class with Mallory, attended one of her Karma classes last winter, or were in a class that she’s subbed recently.
Mallory started her journey from student to teacher in January 2012 through the Yoga Room’s Yoga Immersion Program. Over the last 2 years, Mallory has taught classes in Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga at The Yoga Room. She also practices acro (partner) yoga, gymnastics, and aerial yoga. With this background, Mallory encourages students to challenge themselves and face their fears on the comfort and safety of their yoga mats.
Mallory is involved with Yoga Serves, and especially enjoys helping out with the outdoor projects and trail work events. She is heading up a Yoga Serves project at the Habitat for Humanity Warehouse this coming January. (More details here: http://www.yogaroomannarbor.com/yoga-serves.php)
Mallory is a librarian by training, and when she’s not doing some form of yoga on the ground or in the air, she is a content analyst in Ann Arbor.
Look for some heat-building, detoxing Ashtanga drop-in classes led by Mallory during the holidays later this month!
