I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about our 8-week Yoga for Core Strength & Balance session! To further deepen your understanding of these muscles and ensure you are using them properly in all your daily movements and activities, I will be offering a handful of in-depth, semi-private sessions this summer where you can ask questions and get answers about specific issues or postures. We’ll re-visit the importance of your breath (including the SIP breath) in this class and make sure you are utilizing it to engage your abs properly in your yoga postures without rounding forward and ‘crunching.’

Get feedback on how well you are recruiting your glutes—and take the strain out of your lower back and hamstrings! I’ll also check your alignment in hip/glute stretches like Pigeon pose and give you some options for modifications.
