Sitting or exercising with poor alignment leads to poor posture, shallow breathing and chronic pain. Learn how to modify your yoga poses in this workshop to support natural posture with anatomically correct spine alignment. The YogAlign method utilizes special breathing techniques along with advanced muscle release techniques to achieve core stability and optimize muscle tone. To achieve increased self-awareness and relaxation, self-massage is interwoven into the YogAlign practice. This yoga will challenge some commonly accepted notions about how to hold and sustain your yoga poses. Yoga practitioners of all levels, as well as yoga teachers and bodyworkers, can greatly benefit from this system.

Daniel Koster is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and has completed YogAlign teacher training. He has had the privilege of serving others for the past 15 years as a full-time massage therapist and part-time yoga instructor in Tecumseh, MI.
