Last week I wrote about the importance of having continuity to our yoga practice–how easy it had been for my husband and me to fall out of our Monday evening Yin yoga routine, and how we were motivated to get ourselves back into it because we could feel the differences in our bodies and minds. I heard from a handful of students that they have been struggling the same way.
One solution that some of them had was to have a ‘yoga buddy’ to do their weekly practice with, either physically together outside in their back yard, or just doing their separate yoga practices in their own homes at the same time, and then talking to each other afterwards. Another good kick-starter that a couple of them mentioned was to come to one of my socially-distanced pop-up poolside yoga classes. They said that the pop-up class was just what they needed to motivate them to get back into their practice. So if you’re a student in my *Soothing Yoga For Stressful Times* course, be on the lookout for more upcoming pop-up classes to help inspire you in case you’ve fallen out of your yoga routine!
