May I be filled with loving-kindness.
May I be well.
May I be peaceful and at ease.
May I be happy.
Then do the same meditation replacing the “I” with someone who loves and cares for you. Next, think of someone you may be having problems or difficulties with, allowing yourself to forgive that person’s limitations, fears and wrong actions. Finally, recite this meditation replacing “I” with “the world” or “all beings.”
