In a true yoga practice, we do as much inner work (svadhyaya, or self-study) as we do outer work (physical asana practice). With this in mind, I thought I would share two fun quizzes that I have found helpful in doing my own inner work:
This one, by Sensitivity Expert and Psychotherapist Julie Bjelland (who you may remember from a guest blog post I wrote for her blog), shows you where you fall on the sensitivity spectrum.
And this one, by Self-Compassion Expert Dr. Kristin Neff (who you may remember from one of our previous Yoga Book Club selections), shows you how self-compassionate you tend to be.
Check them out and see what you can learn about yourself! Both women offer many other helpful resources on their websites as well, including podcasts and free masterclasses on topics like anxiety and setting healthy boundaries. And then if you’re ready to do some ‘inner work’ to cultivate more self-compassion and self-care, my Stop Sabotaging Your Self-Care course will give you tips and tools to honor your feelings, set boundaries without guilt, and thrive in the face of life’s challenges.
