Yoga Playlist Suggestions

Hi everybody!

Week 2 of social isolation. Since the ‘Spring Cleaning’ audio sessions that I am recording for current students in lieu of their in-studio classes do not have music, I thought I would share a list of artists I like to use for yoga practices. 

I currently use a lot of DJ Taz Rashid’s music for both Vinyasa and Hatha. He has a lot out there, so there is a lot to choose from! His Wanderlust Yoga Challenge Playlist is a favorite of mine.

For Hatha (and Yin too!), I have Apple Music, so I will just listen to Spa Radio or Deuter Radio (he’s a musician that makes slow, instrumental, yoga-type songs) and find songs I like. Masood Ali Khan, Parijat and Anugama are a few more good artists for Hatha yoga sequences.

For Vinyasa, Desert Dwellers and Shaman’s Dream are a couple more that I use regularly.

I hope these suggestions help add a little more ‘ambience’ to your yoga practices in isolation. Stay healthy everyone!
