Are you craving some peace and quiet?
There has been so much going on in the world lately–the pandemic, politics, police shootings, wildfires, domestic terrorist plots, the list goes on and on and on. It can often feel overwhelming. You might know in your heart that what would make you feel better is some time for self-care, but it may be challenging to create space for that at home nowadays with everyone in your family cooped up together. If you are craving a quiet refuge and longing for the days when you could come to The Yoga Room to shut out the outside world, calm your mind, allow your stress levels to lower, and ‘re-set,’ then I have some good news: the studio is now available to rent for personal retreats. Sometimes all you need is even just a couple hours in solitude to nurture yourself back to balance.
During your personal retreat you can practice yoga (might I suggest with one of my audio sessions?), meditate, journal, read, spend time in contemplation or even take a nap. The main yoga studio with cork floor is available to you, as well as the upstairs, carpeted loft, which now includes a small desk.
Please bring your own yoga mat, props, meditation cushion, and anything else you will need during your personal retreat, including hand sanitizer. Face mask optional. I now have a UV-light air purifier that you can run while in the studio.
Contact me to reserve your personal retreat time. You will be asked to do a COVID screening questionnaire the day of your retreat. I will be scheduling no more than one retreat per day so there is plenty of time for cleaning and sanitizing purposes between people using the space.
